For timeless, smooth classics with melody and meaning with a twist of jazz, book Smooth Duo dinner music specialists. We are the perfect accompaniment to a range of events, from weddings to awards dinners and from hotels and restaurants to business functions and cocktail bars.
Simply give us a call or send us an email and we’ll chat through what you need and negotiate a fee. There are also a few technical requirements and some small print to look at before booking, which you can find here on our T&Cs page
Our fee varies depending on whether your event is local or if we have to travel as we do have to account for travelling time and fuel costs in our fee. We will also look at a discount for local and recurring events, so it’s best to chat to us first and then we can give you a firm price for your event.
Between us, we have years of professional experience in panto, musical theatre, performing in Grease, West Side Story and Chicago, TV acting, appearing in Emmerdale, Doctor Who and Playing the Field, playing in bands, with Royal Philharmonic and National Symphony Orchestras, working as supporting acts, and playing regular sets in well-known hotels and bars, including playing for Coronation Street’s 50th Anniversary bash, supporting Ken Dodd, Lulu, The Osmond Brothers, Billy Ocean, Russell Watson, and working with the Strictly Come Dancing Band singer, Lance Ellington.
We’re a professional, hard-working duo and we take great pride in being on time and pouring all of our passion into every event we are part of.
We tailor our act to your event, playing to suit you. We are flexible with timings and usually play two 45-minute sets or three 30-minute sets, but we’re happy to talk about what you need. Just get in touch!
Yes, absolutely! We always arrive at the venue at least two hours before the start of the event to give us plenty of time to set up our equipment and instruments. We also perform a sound check and make sure the quality of the sound and the levels are perfect for your event. And of course, we clear our equipment away afterwards.
